S Pass qualifying salary will be increased from 1st Jan 2019

As announced during the MOM Committee of Supply (COS) speeches in 2018, the minimum qualifying salary for S Pass holders will be increased from $2,200 to $2,300.
- For new S Pass applications, this will take effect from 1 Jan 2019.
- Existing S Passes that are expiring from 1 Jan 2019 to 30 Jun 2019 can be renewed for up to one year, based on the pre-2019 salary requirement.
- Existing S Passes that are expiring from 1 Jul 2019 onwards will only be renewed if they are able to meet the new minimum qualifying $2,300 salary, which is expected to increase with length of experience.
